Chicago Terps give back this holiday season

Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017
9 to 11 a.m. CST
Lakeview Pantry, 3945 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago
The details:
Chicago Terps is looking for 10 volunteers to help assemble grocery packages for local North Side families. This is a family-friendly activity, so bring the young turtles with you. Volunteers should dress comfortably in clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory, and Maryland attire is merely encouraged.

After the volunteer event, join us at Dark Horse for brunch. (Whether you volunteered or not,  bring some canned goods. Plus, you deserve Old Bay fries.)
Want to RSVP? Have questions? Email Marie LaMonica '12 at marie@chicagoterps.org.

About Lakeview Pantry
Lakeview Pantry, one of the largest food pantries in the city, helps bring food and critical services to the North Side needy. Founded 47 years ago, the pantry now serves 1.3 million meals each year to about 7,000 households. Last year, Lakeview Pantry opened a new facility on North Sheridan Road that houses its distribution center and social service spaces where case workers meet with clients.
Can't join us on Dec. 16?
There's still a way to give back! Throughout December, we'll be partnering with Dark Horse to collect non-perishable canned foods to donate to Lakeview Pantry. Next time you hit up the bar, bring some cans.
